Making IT happen
Effective on November 8, 2017, Army Contracting Command - Rock Island modified the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - Software (ITES-SW) contract to increase the contract ceiling by $130m, from $49m to $179m. This increased ceiling will allow Army customers to leverage the ITES-SW contract to purchase software through the contract period of performance of February 10, 2020. Since earlier this year, Rock Island has required Army customers to seek prior approval for RFPs over a $500k value, to monitor contract sales against the approaching ceiling. The modification removes the requirement for pre-approval, so the Army can proceed with their ITES-SW procurements as normal.
Four Inc. currently offers 36 manufacturers via the ITES-SW contract, including: Quest, One Identity, MathWorks, Varonis, CommVault, HortonWorks & Ipswitch.
Additionally, July 2017, Rock Island issued a Request for Information for the ITES-SW2 contract, which is intended to serve as a follow-on contract to the ITES-SW contract in 2020. As currently planned, ITES-SW2 will have a broader scope and may be open to all Government agencies and departments for a 10-year ordering period.
