Tell us a little about yourself.

I grew up in Ashburn, VA with one older brother. After high school, I attended The University of Mississippi and graduated in May of 2018. I chose to branch out to Ole Miss for a change of pace and to experience something completely new. After graduation, I came back to Virginia and now live in Arlington, VA!

Why did you decide to join the Four Inc. Family?

When I first came in to interview, the team expressed how important the family culture of Four Inc. is. I found that to be true by how I was greeted and how comfortable I felt when meeting everyone. I knew right away that joining the Four Inc. team would help me learn and grow not just in work but as a person too.

What is your Four Inc. Story?

I found Four Inc. through Indeed.com (shout out to our Marketing Manager, Joanna Corcoran) and was lucky enough to have a call with our Director of Finance, Susan Anderson shortly after applying.

What does a typical day as an Accounts Receivable Analyst look like?

My main goal is to make sure that we are paid for every order in a timely manner. I do this by sending out every invoice as soon as possible, and make sure to follow up to have these invoices paid. The great thing about working at a place like Four Inc. is that no one day will look the same. Every day gives you an opportunity to step outside of your typical comfort zone to help solve problems or assist someone on a different team.

What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting at Four Inc.?

I was recently nominated for a peer to peer recognition coin, which I am very proud of. I am also very proud of how I have been able to fit in and develop my role on the accounting team.

Outside of work, what are your hobbies?

I have recently picked up golf and try to get out on the course any chance I get. I also love to go snowboarding at different places during the winter.

What is your best piece of advice that you’d like to share?

Something I have learned while working at Four Inc. is to take any chance you can to branch out and get out of your comfort zone. A common theme of Four Inc. is that each employee wears multiple hats every day. I think this runs true with not only work but in life too!

The Four Inc. accounting department consisted of the same two people for six years prior to deciding to hire/expand. When we started the interviewing process, we knew fit was going to be very important. Around that time, as I was reviewing resumes, our co-founder told me to “find someone who I could sit next to on a five hour plane ride and upon landing, still want to have dinner with them.” From the first conversation I had with Kyle I knew he was going to be an asset to our team – both professionally and personally. I’ve had the privilege of watching him learn and excel in his role the past few years – navigating the government’s multiple invoicing platforms with ease. He is a hardworking and dedicated individual and Four Inc. is incredibly lucky to have him. I am proud to call him a colleague and friend.

Kyle has been an absolute professional in every way since becoming a part of the Four Inc. team. Kyle joined us right out of college, and he flawlessly transitioned into his accounting role as if he was a 10 year veteran. His maturity, work ethic, and communication skills are well beyond his years. From the moment he stepped into the role, the accounting team was elevated in every way. After a quick intro into the inner workings of the accounting department, he soon managed most of the AR responsibilities and hasn’t looked back. I am so very thankful for having Kyle on the team, and I couldn’t imagine our team without him.

Kyle has to put up with me every day, multiple times a day and is always helpful and kind without fail. He tracks a million things in his work and remains on top of all of it and he never fails to make the Four Inc. team laugh whenever we are together.
