Sales Support Specialist

Four Inc. is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our growing team. Four Inc. is an 8(a) woman-owned small business based in Herndon, Virginia, providing IT resale, financing solutions, and procurement consulting to the Federal Government. Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be required to execute functions and manage processes and relationships in support of Four Inc. IT resale division. This is a high-visibility position that requires daily interaction with company executives and program managers in a variety of settings.

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to execute functions and manage processes and relationships in support of Four Inc. IT resale division. This is a high-visibility position that requires daily interaction with company executives and program managers in a variety of settings.

This individual will support the Federal IT Resale division of Four Inc., performing the following tasks:

  • Provide sales support for Federal IT requirements, including timely response to RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs
  • Build and maintain government customer and manufacturer/vendor relationships
  • Continually follow-up and track status of opportunities, provide pipeline update to management
  • Update and maintain current information in our CRM database
  • Review and process contracts
  • Create and issue purchase orders
  • Abide by specific guidelines and policies associated with established contracts and vehicles
  • Support, as required, client tradeshows or conferences to identify new opportunities / leads
  • Work closely with Operations Management to ensure alignment of priorities, goals and related activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in business or relevant subject
  • 1-2 years of experience in related field
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – experience with logical and lookup formulas
  • Basic financial/accounting math skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Team Player capable of working within a collaborative environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to compile, organize, and analyze data
  • Analytical/critical thinking skills
